Chudler Research & Advisory Services has offices in both Tokyo and Los Angeles in order to serve its institutional clients. The firm was established in 2010 by Craig Chudler primarily to conduct research on the Japanese stock market and Japanese companies. Craig spent twenty years in Tokyo before returning to the U.S. with Citigroup and to join a Japan-focused hedge fund. Before leaving Japan in 2001, Craig was selected by Reuters as the country's #1 technical analyst. He also has a background in Japanese politics and economics as a masters graduate in those fields from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Craig is a product of Merrill Lynch's analyst training program, and joined their Tokyo research team to help widen their company coverage back in 1985.
